The full interactive analysis of 9 crypto casino domains is live here:

What I’ve done

We went through crypto casinos launched or scaled up in recent years and pulled out the ones that actually built search volume, and that don't mainly live off brand traffic. For each of them we exported the complete link profiles from Ahrefs and Majestic, every built link with dates, DR, anchors and target pages, and mapped that against their traffic growth, on-page structure and rankings.

Out of that we've taken the correlation between links built and traffic, the topics a new crypto casino can realistically rank for and how fast, and an estimate of how many links it takes. If you want the underlying dataset as a file as well, just let me know and I can share the raw material as well.

How to read the dashboard

Start on Overview for the traffic curves side by side. Then "Links ↔ Traffic", that's the core tab.

It measure links against traffic per domain, and has a table showing how many quality links each site had when it crossed 1k, 5k, 10k and 25k visits a month. That table is the closest thing to an answer on "how many links and what type of links do we need”.

Domain deep dive holds every single link from the exports so you can inspect the profiles yourself if you want to. Link velocity shows monthly pace per DR tier, and KW roadmap lays out what ranks at what time.

One honest thing to keep in mind

We see what the SEO tools see. Hidden PBNs, canonical tricks and similar won't show up in Ahrefs or Majestic data, and a few pages in the dataset rank without a visible link explanation. We've deliberately not built any direct recommendations on those cases.

My suggestion & proposal

1

Month 1-3

I would recommend start with roughly 4-6 quality links/mo (paid placements) the first months, to make it look natural and build the basic trust about the brand. There are some certain medias that almost all of the well established crypto casinos are presented at, that we should also make sure to cover. Focus on branded anchors pointing to the homepage.

2

Month 4-6

Increase to around 8-10 links/mo.

Suggested budget
5-7 k EUR / mo

If you go for my recommendation above, a budget of around 5-7 k EUR/mo would be needed for the first months.

I will put together a list of available domains, and listed prices (with price guarantee). With that said, you can also adjust the budget and pick the placements yourself freely from the list if you prefer to.

We can also always scale this down, for example if the PR work performs well and gets high reach. We always try to manage the links and the PR together, so the budget is not set in stone.

Focus on branded search

As we spoke about in the meeting, start with ”brand first”. It's also a clear pattern across all the sites is that brand search volume carries many of them (especially the ones left out of the report with extremely high volume traffic. So the first months should be about spreading the LIQD casino as a brand, rather than chasing commercial keywords.

Topics to aim for first

1

"Originals terms"

Crash, dice, plinko, mines. These rank with quite low amount of links, and your provably fair and WTF angle gives them a good angle and good thematic match.

2

Coin casino page

One page per major currency. TrustDice does 2,700 visits a month on their USDT page alone (https://trustdice.win/tether-usdt-casino).

3

Niche verticals

Esports betting, bitcoin bingo, poker freerolls. The first non-branded rankings young sites seems to pick up, depending on what you’re gonna offer of course at the casino.

4

Bonus terms

Publish the no deposit page early, the biggest non-branded asset in the data, but a 12 month play.
